Created | Little Colorado River Gorge

The Little Colorado River can be a dangerous place and one that is very difficult to reach on foot. The 58 mile gorge is steeped in ancient history and religious significance, and despite its beauty and splendor, the gorge remains infrequently traveled.

Visitation

This site was not created simply to encourage visitation. The Little Colorado is a remarkable, yet fragile area. Instead, this site’s intent is to share knowledge about the Little Colorado with the intellectually curious, and to inform those who are lucky, brave or foolhardy enough to line-up a proper, permitted expedition.
